Dental Hygienist

At The Essex Smile Centre were looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our established dental practice in Rayleigh Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient oral health outcomes whilst working within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

The Role:

• Tuesday & Wednesday surgery availability
• Delivering high-quality patient care managing your own patient list and working alongside experienced dentists and support staff to provide comprehensive dental hygiene services
• Delivering comprehensive dental hygiene treatments within your scope of practice managing an established and diverse patient list ensuring continuity of care and building strong therapeutic relationships
• Performing thorough patient assessments identifying oral health concerns and developing individualised treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team
• Providing evidence-based oral health education and preventative advice to patients promoting positive behavioural change. 
• Work collaboratively with dentists and dental nurses communicating effectively to ensure seamless patient care.

What were looking for:

• GDC registration as a Dental Hygienist
• Diploma in Dental Hygiene or equivalent recognised qualification
• Demonstrable experience delivering dental hygiene treatments within scope of practice
• Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient groups
• Confident in patient assessment treatment planning and clinical decision-making
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and proactive approach to collaborative working
