Job Summary

KCLSU is looking for a Democracy Development Coordinator to work within the Community Engagement Department to develop and deliver KCLSUs democratic practices protocols and procedures for its 55000 members and 400 Student Groups.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning and delivery of KCLSU elections ensuring compliance with governance requirements an excellent participant expereince and high levels of student engagement.
  • Developing and implementing democratic processes committee procedures and accountability frameworks that support effective student representation and union governance.
  • Designing and delivering training guidance and support for Community Leaders and student representatives empowering them to succeed in their roles.
  • Building strong partnerships across KCL student groups elected officers and external organisations while managing operational resources budgets enquiries and compliance requirements.
