Job Summary

Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) - Day One Service
Full Time Permanent
Hybrid Working

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Health Nurse to join our Day One Service on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a hybrid role combining home-based working with occasional office attendance as required following a period of training and successful completion of probation.

The successful candidate will work a rota covering a mix of weekdays weekends and nights based on three long shifts per week (13.3 hours per shift). Rota planning will be undertaken to ensure service coverage across operating hours.

Key Responsibilities

Early absence management interventions

Manage inbound and outbound calls in line with Day One service requirements.

Provide clinical advice and guidance relating to absence management and fitness for work.

Accurately document consultations and maintain confidential clinical records.

Liaise with employees managers and clients in a professional and supportive manner.

Contribute to service quality clinical governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements

Registered Nurse (NMC)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.

Good IT skills with experience of electronic case management systems.

Ability to work independently within a remote/hybrid environment.

Flexibility to participate in a rota covering weekdays weekends and night shifts.
