Data Manager

A successful Secondary School in Swindon is seeking an experienced and analytical Data Manager to join its support staff team on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised professional who enjoys working with data and using information to support school improvement. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the schools management information systems ensuring that student staff and assessment data is accurate secure and readily available to support informed decision-making.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team Heads of Department and administrative staff you will oversee the collection analysis and reporting of assessment attendance and pupil progress data. You will produce regular reports that support strategic planning while ensuring the integrity of all information held within the schools systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining the schools management information system producing performance reports managing census returns supporting timetable data monitoring assessment deadlines and ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation.

You will also provide training and support to staff using school systems identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and assist with the development of efficient administrative systems across the school.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to colleagues across the school.

Requirements
  • Previous Data Manager or school data experience

  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
