The school is seeking a highly organised and analytical Data Manager to oversee pupil information and data administration.
The Data Manager will take responsibility for maintaining accurate and up-to-date school information.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining pupil records.
Managing the schools management information system.
Coordinating assessment data collection.
Producing reports for senior leaders.
Preparing attainment and progress information.
Checking data for accuracy.
Identifying discrepancies.
Producing attendance and pupil reports.
Supporting assessment cycles.
Preparing information for parent reporting.
Managing key data deadlines.
Supporting staff with data-related queries.
Maintaining confidential pupil information.
Producing spreadsheets and analysis.
Preparing information for senior leadership meetings.
Supporting reporting requirements.
Maintaining appropriate documentation.
Updating pupil information promptly.
The successful candidate will coordinate information submitted by teachers and ensure that assessment data is accurate.
This will involve monitoring deadlines checking information and following up where data is incomplete.
You will work closely with teachers and senior leaders to ensure information is available when required.
The role will require confidence using school databases and information systems.
The Data Manager may be responsible for:
Updating pupil records.
Entering assessment information.
Producing reports.
Checking data integrity.
Supporting colleagues with system queries.
Maintaining accurate information.
Producing pupil lists and analysis.
Experience with a school MIS such as SIMS or Arbor would be advantageous.
The Data Manager will produce information to support school leaders in monitoring pupil achievement.
This may include:
Assessment reports.
Attendance information.
Pupil progress reports.
Intervention information.
Class and year-group data.
Senior leadership reports.
Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail will therefore be essential.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in data management or administration.
