A high-performing secondary school in Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced Data Manager to take responsibility for the accuracy management and reporting of pupil data across the school.
Working closely with senior leaders and teaching staff youll make sure the schools information systems are kept up to date and that reliable data is available to support planning assessment and day-to-day decision-making.
Manage and maintain the schools MIS and pupil databases
Ensure student records are accurate and consistently updated
Produce regular reports covering attainment assessment and attendance
Support staff with data queries and reporting requirements
Prepare information for school census and statutory returns
Carry out data checks and resolve inconsistencies
Provide analysis and reports for SLT and governors where required
Support assessment cycles and examination-related data
Maintain confidentiality and ensure GDPR requirements are followed
Youll ideally have previous experience managing data within a school or education setting and be confident working with large and complex datasets.
Strong Excel skills are essential along with experience using a school MIS such as Arbor SIMS or Bromcom. You should be methodical organised and comfortable working independently to tight deadlines.
