Job Summary
Data Engineering Manager is required by a large organisation to lead the design delivery and operation of a Microsoft Fabric-based data platform supporting data initiatives across the organisation.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading mentoring and growing a team of data engineers.
- Owning the roadmap for Microsoft Fabric based data platform development.
- Designing developing and troubleshooting data pipelines integrations and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
- Leading delivery of data engineering projects and platform improvements against agreed quality timescales and business needs.
- Overseeing the design build testing deployment and maintenance of data pipelines and data integrations.
- Ensuring successful delivery of data assets.
- Ensuring platform availability performance and reliability.
- Embedding data quality security and governance controls throughout the data platform.
- Defining engineering standards and driving CI/CD DevOps and automation practices.
Required Experience:
- Significant experience in data engineering/platform roles with a proven track record delivering complex data platform solutions.
- Experience leading or managing technical engineering teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- SQL Python and data modelling skills.
- CI/CD Git and DevOps/infrastructure-as-code experience
