CYP CBT Therapist
Job Summary
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Service: Private - Children & Young People (CYP) Talking Therapies
Contract Type: Flexible / Sessional
Hours:Monday-Friday 4pm - 9pm Weekends 8am-6pm
This service is expanding its Children and Young People (CYP) Talking Therapies service delivering high-quality evidence-based mental health support to children young people and families across the UK. The service is open 7 days per week and operates 8am-10pm.
As a CBT Therapist you will provide structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions to children and young people experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality evidence-based CBT interventions to children and young people
- Carry out comprehensive clinical assessments formulation and risk management
- Provide therapeutic interventions via remote and/or face-to-face sessions
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including CWPs Psychologists and Family Therapists
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with service requirements
- Adhere to safeguarding confidentiality and clinical governance frameworks
- Engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing CPD
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- BABCP Accredited or Registered CBT Therapist
- Completed CYP IAPT Pathway training (High Intensity CBT for Children & Young People)
- Demonstrable experience delivering CBT interventions to children and young people
- Strong understanding of risk assessment safeguarding and clinical governance
Applications that do not meet the above criteria (BABCP CYP IAPT Pathway) will not be considered.
- Experience working within CAMHS NHS or equivalent services
- Experience delivering remote therapy
- Experience working with neurodiverse populations or complex presentations
