Curriculum Administrator Sport (Maternity Cover)
Location: Northampton
Salary: 20248.86 per annum (Pro Rata to 24487 FTE)
Full-Time Term Time Only
Working Hours: Monday Friday 08:30 17:00 (1 Hour Lunch Break)

We are delighted to be supporting a well-established Northamptonshire based education provider with the recruitment of a Curriculum Administrator to join their Sport department on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced people-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent support across a busy department.

Working closely with the Head of Faculty and wider curriculum team you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department supporting both students and staff through efficient administration communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional administrative support to the Head of Faculty and wider curriculum team
Organise meetings prepare agendas and take accurate meeting minutes
Support the tracking recording and management of student absences
Produce letters timetables reports and parent communications
Act as a key point of contact for students parents employers and visitors
Assist with the organisation of open events taster days and parents evenings
Liaise with internal departments including MIS Student Services Marketing and HR
Support timetable updates and curriculum administration processes
Collate and present data relating to course performance and attendance
Maintain accurate records documentation and departmental systems
Support invoice processing timesheets and general departmental administration
Provide reception and visitor support when required

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience within an administrative or office-based role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident using Microsoft Office packages including Word Excel and Outlook
Professional and approachable manner with strong customer service skills
Able to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Positive proactive and adaptable approach to work
Experience within education or a similar environment would be advantageous but not essential

Desirable

Experience supporting events or large-scale activities
Experience working with database systems
Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR processes
Driving licence and access to transport
