Cover Teacher The Role

Cover classes when teachers are absent
Deliver pre-planned lessons across the primary curriculum
Maintain routines behaviour and engagement
Adapt confidently across different year groups
Support pupils with learning confidence and progress
Work closely with teachers and senior leaders

Cover Teacher Candidate Requirements

QTS required
Primary teaching or cover experience required
Confident managing a classroom independently
Strong behaviour management
Reliable adaptable and professional
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
