The Opportunity

You will join a sizeable and well-established corporate practice advising a broad spectrum of clients including owner-managed businesses high-growth companies financial institutions and large corporates. The team handles a wide range of high-quality work including:

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Private equity transactions and investments
• Fundraising and equity structuring
• Corporate reorganisations and restructuring
• Joint ventures and shareholder arrangements
• Corporate governance and advisory matters

The Bristol team is experiencing significant growth and offers a collaborative supportive environment with strong cross-office integration. You will work alongside highly regarded senior lawyers on complex and high-value transactions while also having the opportunity to take ownership of your own matters.

The Role

This position is suited to an ambitious corporate lawyer with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to be at the heart of collaboratively building a practice.

• Lead and manage a varied caseload of corporate matters
• Play a key role in delivering technically excellent and commercially focused advice

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a qualified lawyer with strong corporate experience gained at a reputable firm
• Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge across a range of corporate matters
• Have the ability to run transactions independently with minimal supervision
• Possess strong commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
• Have a proven track record of meeting financial and performance targets
• Be confident using case management systems and standard IT packages
• Be a proactive personable team player with strong communication skills
