Corporate Managing Associate

This is a rare opportunity for a senior corporate solicitor whos keen to step off the standard City track and into a genuinely differentiated practice. Our client is built around the high value niche of sport and its given them a seat at the table on some of the largest and most complex deals of their kind. Its the sort of work that would normally sit with a much bigger platform.

In this varied role youll be working on high quality corporate transactional work: company sales joint ventures growth stage investment and high value M&A much of it involving private capital. Deal sizes and complexity are a step up from whats typical at this level. Youll be running a genuine mix some deals with a heavy regulatory and governance layer alongside the transaction itself others more conventional in structure but bigger in scale.

Beyond the deal work youll get real breadth: advisory work on governance frameworks helping set up new commercial structures from scratch and regulatory matters. Its the kind of range thats hard to find in a traditional corporate practice.

This would suit an experienced lawyer at Senior Associate or Managing Associate level whos built a solid grounding in private company M&A joint ventures and venture style deals at a leading City practice. Our client is looking for someone who wants more ownership more variety and closer client contact than a larger firm typically offers.
