Job Summary

About the role

Working closely with the Director of Legal & Governance youll play a key role in bringing conveyancing services in-house and establishing the foundations for a successful customer-focused service. Youll manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters relating to shared ownership and outright sales while working alongside colleagues across Development Sales and other teams to support a seamless customer journey from reservation through to completion.

Youll also help develop effective processes systems and service standards monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency service delivery and value for money.

Skills and experience needed

Were looking for someone with significant experience in residential conveyancing including managing cases from inception through to completion. Experience of working on large residential development schemes is essential.

A qualification as a Solicitor or CILEx professional with post-qualification experience would be desirable. However we also welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate substantial relevant conveyancing experience and the technical expertise needed to succeed in the role.

Youll have excellent technical knowledge strong commercial awareness and the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Were looking for someone who can balance attention to detail with a practical approach to problem-solving while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and compliance. Experience of leading a conveyancing team implementing new processes or working within the housing sector would be advantageous.

The salary for this role is 47392 per annum (full-time 37 hours per week). This opportunity is available until 30th September 2027 as we establish and evaluate our new in-house conveyancing service. With agile working and a base location of Newport Swansea or Cardiff. As part of our agile approach youll be expected to attend the office for team collaboration key meetings and business needs.

Youll receive 26 days annual leave rising to 31 days plus bank holidays. We work Monday to Friday with the option to compress your hours into a 9 day fortnight.
