This is a full-time role managing a varied caseload of sale and purchase matters from instruction through to completion with the autonomy to run files with minimal supervision while still being part of a collaborative team.
You will take ownership of a busy residential conveyancing caseload delivering a first-class service to clients throughout the full conveyancing process. The role suits someone who is confident handling freehold and leasehold transactions and enjoys building relationships and repeat work in the local market.
Key Responsibilities
Managing matters end-to-end from taking initial instructions through to completion and archiving
Advising clients clearly and pragmatically throughout the transaction
Obtaining preparing and reviewing file documentation
Progressing sales and purchases efficiently keeping clients and third parties updated
Billing files and ensuring monies due are obtained in line with office and accounts procedures
Supporting delegated supervisory responsibilities where required
Maintaining and developing technical conveyancing knowledge
What Were Looking For
Essential
4 years experience in a similar residential conveyancing role
Strong technical knowledge across freehold and leasehold transactions
Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of deadlines and progression
Strong written and spoken English with a client-friendly communication style
Able to explain solutions to complex issues in a clear practical way
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
Confident prioritising workload and meeting deadlines
Team-focused with the ability to work on your own initiative
