We are a global team responsible for working to ensure the accuracy of the firms financial and regulatory information by complying with the rules and regulations governing financial markets addition to managing both internal and external financial reporting our expertise plays a key role in the firms business planning decisions around allocation of financial resources such as capital and balance sheet. We partner with the firms businesses to provide advice on accounting valuation capital liquidity reputational risk and other regulatory considerations. Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) Core Team

The RRP Core Team is seeking an Associate to join the team and assist in the production of and assurance over the firms global RRP deliverables.

The RRP Core Team is responsible for setting the strategy for planning and coordinating the firms global and local RRP deliverables. The team also has responsibility for running the assurance program across our RRP capabilities and is the first point of call for regulatory enquiries relating to RRP globally.

Previous RRP knowledge or experience is not essential.

Responsibilities may include:
Authoring coordinating and reviewing the firms recovery and resolution plans and other regulatory deliverables.
Participating in the design and execution of assurance exercises such as capability testing and tabletop simulations.
Assessing and implementing new regulatory requirements.

Required skills:
Technical competence: Knowledge of accounting capital and/or liquidity concepts and regulatory requirements. Ability to interpret and implement RRP regulatory requirements.
Organizational skills: Ability to work with a federated team of 100 individuals across multiple divisions within the firm to plan and execute on the firms RRP deliverables.
Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at various levels of seniority
Control mindset: Ability to maintain and develop a robust control governance and assurance framework around the firms RRP deliverables.
Analytical skills: Ability to review and challenge financial projections included in the recovery and resolution plans.
Writing skills: Ability to produce documentation that meets regulatory submission standards and the ability to critically review materials prepared by other teams.
