Ipswich High School are seeking to appoint a creative organised and digitally confident Content and Communications Officer to join our Marketing role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis with a preference for a minimum of four days per week.

Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell Ipswich High School enjoys an enviable reputation of delivering outstanding academic results whilst maintaining a warm welcoming and happy community of over 500 pupils aged 3 18.

The Content and Communications Officer will play a key role in creating engaging high-quality content that brings the schools story to life and supports its reputation pupil recruitment and wider community engagement.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a strongvisual eye and understands what makes content engaging
• is proactive and confident in identifying stories and content opportunities
• understands how audiences consume content across different digital channels
• can balance creativity with accuracy professionalism and attention to detail
• is comfortable working at pace and responding to changing priorities
• is confident building positive relationships with pupils staff parents and other members of the school community
• is enthusiastic about the school and able to communicate its character values and achievements authentically
• takes pride in producing high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
