Construction Law Partner

Location: Leeds

Salary: 95000 to 140000

Experience: Partner level (salary partner with a modest client following)

What Youll Be Doing

You will take a lead role in growing the Construction offering in Leeds with the autonomy and trust to make decisions and drive outcomes.

Key parts of the role will include:

  • Advising on a broad range of construction and infrastructure matters acting for employers developers contractors and consultants
  • Drafting negotiating and advising on construction documentation (including building contracts professional appointments warranties and collateral agreements)
  • Advising on project risk procurement strategy and contract management with a practical commercial approach
  • Supporting colleagues across the wider firm including real estate corporate and disputes on construction-related issues
  • Building and strengthening client relationships with meaningful influence over service delivery
  • Playing an active role in shaping team direction business development activity and the wider growth strategy
  • Mentoring and developing colleagues helping to build a high-performing quality-led culture

Were looking for a Partner who combines strong technical ability with commercial instinct and a people-first approach.

Youll ideally bring:

  • Partner level experience in Construction law (or a Senior Associate or Legal Director ready for partnership)
  • A modest client following or a clear and credible plan to build one quickly
  • Strong experience advising businesses with the confidence to lead client relationships
  • A practical solutions-led style with a focus on clarity efficiency and high quality outcomes
  • The ability to work independently while enjoying a collaborative supportive environment
