The ConstructionDeliveryManagerwill support the delivery ofan area within aspecific section of theWorks. This responsibility extends to all construction and related activities reporting to theSenior ConstructionDeliveryManagerand includes logistics planning and implementation in collaboration with the site wide logistics teamprogramming and planning monitoring and close out of authoritiesobligations and conditions andclient liaison.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the contract partners in their delivery of the works packages to enable efficient delivery of the of their sectionsofworks.

• Recommend temporary measuresto mitigate against safety and/or quality concerns. Follow up by takingappropriateand proportionate action (e.g. issue communications call meetings) to avoid thecessationof includes but is not limited to review of documents assurance audits etc.

• Monitor works on site and input into the construction daily report to ensure information is reported up through the organisation to theSenior Construction Delivery Managerand escalate any issues/concerns via detailed reports.

• Proactively communicate/co-ordinatewith othersiteteams(H&S contract project controlslogistics)andConstruction Delivery Managerstomaintaingood communicationlinks and ensure activity is well will also include attendances at pre-start briefings and supporting the delivery of key messages to thecontractorsorganisation.

• Attend PLOD/PLOW meetings with the contractor ensure outputs are recorded and issued to the SCDM.

• Undertake safety and/or assurance inspections thatsupport the project HSPIs.

• Ensure clear two-way communication withtheSenior Construction Delivery Managerso that all activityand issues aredirected appropriately

Education Experience and Skills:

• Experience and knowledge ofconstruction sequencing recoveryplansandresource allocation.

• Goodunderstanding of the post holders obligations under CDMRegulations.

• Working knowledge in the delivery of projects.

• Be ableto write informativeconciseand meaningful reports

• Motivate and energisecontract partnersby building a climate of trust and understanding and actively seeking alternative views and opinions.

• Possess excellent organisation and communication skills.

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Mechanical ElectricalEngineeringor Construction management or equivalent vocational training and experience.

• SMSTS or IOSH qualification holder
