Teaching Computing across KS3 and Computer Science at KS4

You will deliver lessons that develop students understanding of computer systems programming algorithms and computational thinking.
At KS3 you will introduce pupils to coding digital literacy and the principles of computer science. At KS4 you will teach the relevant GCSE specification covering areas such as programming techniques data representation networks cybersecurity and computer architecture.
Students should be encouraged to solve problems independently test their solutions and learn from errors. You will use practical programming tasks alongside theoretical teaching to help pupils apply their knowledge and develop confidence.
The role will also involve planning schemes of work assessing progress and providing feedback that helps students strengthen their technical understanding.
