Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-impact lessons covering algorithm design Python programming object-oriented principles and computer architecture

  • Prepare Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students for rigorous GCSE and A-Level examinations ensuring strong technical understanding and exam technique

  • Lead departmental enrichment initiatives such as coding clubs robotics teams hackathons and cybersecurity challenges

  • Collaborate with faculty to develop cutting-edge digital learning resources automated code-checking tools and scheme-of-work modules

  • Track assess and report on student progress delivering targeted intervention strategies to maximize pupil attainment

  • Maintain hardware software environments and network safety tools in close coordination with IT network technicians

  • Fulfill pastoral responsibilities as a Form Tutor within the schools established care system

  • Support the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of the Computing department
