A forward-thinking secondary academy in Ely is looking to appoint a Computer Science Teacher to strengthen its computing provision. The school is seeking someone who can deliver practical lessons develop students programming abilities and encourage logical thinking and independent problem-solving.
Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.
Deliver programming algorithms computer systems and data representation.
Use practical coding exercises to develop technical confidence.
Prepare students for GCSE assessments and examination requirements.
Contribute to computing enrichment and curriculum development.
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong Computer Science subject knowledge.
Is confident teaching programming and computational thinking.
Can explain technical concepts clearly.
Is available to start as soon as possible.
