Job Summary
An established secondary school in Derby is looking to appoint a Computer Science & ICT Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile practitioner who enjoys combining technical knowledge with engaging classroom teaching. The successful candidate will join the school from November.
Teach Computer Science and ICT across KS3 and KS4.
Deliver practical and theory-based lessons.
Prepare students for relevant GCSE qualifications.
Develop digital literacy and computational thinking.
Contribute to curriculum development within the department.
Hold QTS with relevant Computing experience.
Have strong knowledge of Computer Science and/or ICT.
Be confident using technology within lessons.
Have strong classroom management skills.
Be enthusiastic about developing students digital skills.
