The role
As Compliance Coordinator you will play a vital role in ensuring the site meets all aspects of compliance and adherence to our legal requirements. You will collaborate closely with production engineering and other departments to implement quality control measures and compliance protocols. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying any compliance and quality issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Your keen analytical skills will be essential as you monitor production processes and perform audits to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
You will be responsible for maintaining documentation related to compliance assurance processes and facilitating training sessions to ensure that all team members understand and adhere to compliance standards and requirements.
Develop and implement compliance control policies and procedures for production processes.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Assist with preparation for external audits and carry out supplier and customer audit visits
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to compliance quality assurance and control.
Maintain internal audit schedule
Administer site specific compliance obligations and ensure adherence to relevant regulations
Carry out and maintain PRN compliance checks and audits
Ensure all required compliance checks are carried out on existing and new suppliers
Train team members on compliance standards protocols and best practices.
Administer weekly and monthly PRN data of materials and submission to Environment agency
Ensure compliance to PRN accreditation
Facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address non-conformance issues.
Any other duties as required by the site
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in quality control manufacturing or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment
Experience with quality inspection tools and techniques.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 9001).
Strong understanding of compliance relevant to the recycling industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
