Compliance & CDM Manager
We are looking for an experienced motivated and forward-thinking Compliance and CDM Manager to lead and develop our corporate approach to building safety asset compliance and Construction Design and Management (CDM) across the Councils diverse property portfolio and project programme.
This is a pivotal leadership role ensuring the Council meets its statutory regulatory and governance responsibilities while maintaining the highest standards of building resident and project safety.
About the Role:
As the Councils lead competent person and senior advisor for statutory compliance building safety and CDM you will provide both strategic and operational leadership across the organisation. You will be responsible for developing implementing and continuously improving our compliance assurance framework safety governance arrangements and project management practices.
Working closely with senior leaders project teams contractors and external stakeholders you will play a key role in driving a culture of safety compliance and continuous improvement throughout the Council.
About the candidate:
Were looking for a knowledgeable and inspiring professional who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience in building safety statutory compliance asset management or CDM-related disciplines.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience of managing teams and resources.
- A thorough understanding of relevant legislation regulations and best practice relating to building and project safety.
- Excellent organisational planning and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to influence engage and build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A commitment to delivering high standards of governance compliance and customer-focused services.
