Compensation Consultant | Great West

Permanent Full Time

As a Compensation Consultant you will support the analysis administration and governance of compensation programs across Great-West Lifeco. You will develop data-driven insights to support compensation decisions maintain compensation frameworks and processes and contribute to the annual compensation cycle.

What you will do:

• Administer and support the governance of executive and broad-based compensation programs including incentive plans
• Conduct market research and develop benchmarking analyses/reports to inform compensation decisions and stakeholder insights
• Partner with HR partners and internal stakeholders to provide data analysis and recommendations for compensation-related matters
• Support the annual compensation cycle including data validation modelling system readiness communications and HR partner support
• Compile validate and maintain compensation data ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems and reporting tools
• Support the development of compensation program documents policies and presentations
• Leverage automation and AI-enabled tools to enhance compensation analysis reporting and process efficiency
• Monitor emerging compensation regulatory and governance trends and contribute to other initiatives as required as part of broader compensation and HR strategies

Who you are:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in compensation data analysis or related roles

• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with demonstrated experience interpreting data and translating findings into meaningful insights
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel with proven ability to build analytical models; strong proficiency with Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and consistently exhibit excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive information

The base salary for this position is between$62700 - $112600 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus commission etc).
