Location: Covering Gloucester Quedgeley Churchdown Brockworth Stroud Stonehouse Painswick Nailsworth and Cirencester Pay: 41 per hour 45p per mile Type: Flexible / Casual (3 hours to 2 days per week)

Job Brief The Caring Physio is expanding in Gloucestershire and we are looking for compassionate Community Physiotherapists to join our team. We specialise in providing expert physiotherapy in the home environment helping patients regain independence without the stress of travelling to a hospital or clinic.

This is the busiest patch we have. We are turning away more work in Gloucestershire than anywhere else in the country simply because the physiotherapists we have here are full. If you join us you will not be waiting for referrals.

Gloucestershire Royal sends people home across this area every week and Stroud and Cirencester Hospitals pick up part of the recovery but the rehabilitation that actually matters happens afterwards in the house. Between the city the Stroud valleys and the Cotswold villages reaching an outpatient appointment is often harder than the treatment itself.

This role offers exceptional flexibility making it an ideal choice for those looking to supplement their current role or manage personal commitments. You have complete control over your diary management working anything from 3 hours to 2 days per week to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Home-Based Care: Delivering high-quality clinical assessments and person-centred treatments to patients across Gloucester Stroud Cirencester and the surrounding villages.
  • Independent Practice: Managing your own caseload with autonomy whilst maintaining the highest professional standards.
  • Team Integration: You are never aloneyou will have direct access to our Home Physio Coordinator and Clinical Director for guidance plus the collective expertise of our wider team.
  • Holistic Advocacy: Taking a caring approach to rehabilitation ensuring patients and their families feel supported throughout their recovery.

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of NHS experience (post-rotation) is essential and a minimum of 3 years working as a Physiotherapist.
  • Professional Standing: Must hold current HCPC registration and CSP membership.
  • Clinical Expertise: We are looking for broad skills in Care of the Elderly Orthopaedics and Neurology areas where a patient-focused approach is vital.
  • Logistics: A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for travel between home visits.
  • Personal Attributes: You are friendly reliable and willing to go the extra mile to improve a patients quality of life.
