The primary purpose of this post is to support people to work together building their confidence and skills to deliver projects that change their communities for the better in a sustainable and inclusive way. This post will ensure people have the opportunity to influence decisions that shape their places and how they live their lives.
The Role
In our small Team as a Community Development Officer you will play a key role in identifying local needs and delivering innovative projects that improve lives. You will work closely with individuals groups business and third sector partners to:
Develop and support community-led initiatives.
Empower individuals to build skills confidence and networks.
Creating a partnership approach to embed community priorities and foster collaboration.
Promote inclusion engagement and sustainability in all activities.
