What this job involves:
Our graduate programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification all within the dynamic environment of JLLs Bristol office.
Youll join us on a 2 to 2.5 year trainee programme working towards Commercial / General Practice Chartered Surveyor status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Our Bristol office offers a supportive and collaborative atmosphere ideal for your professional development.
Anyone with a degree can join this programme irrespective of discipline as we are focused on training you to becoming a qualified and well-rounded professional. Our diverse Bristol team welcomes graduates from various backgrounds. If you do not have an RICS accredited Real Estate degree you will complete a fully funded online masters degree (MSc) in Real Estate with the University of the Built Environment as part of the graduate programme. You will be fully supported by both JLL and the University throughout your academic journey.
Youll rotate around the business with a focus on commercial and corporate properties.Possible rotations could include Commercial Valuation Lease Advisory Office Agency Industrial Agency Capital Markets Rating Property & Asset Management Development Consultancy and Residential Valuation.

What your day-to-day will look like:
Youll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions. The work will vary depending on the team you are in but below are some of what youll experience:
Youll research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation that may impact our work
Youll learn how to use various property systems/databases so we can collect information that will help us determining the best solution for clients
Youll build relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service
Youll work with your team to draft and deliver work that may involve a variety of work such as service charge budgets presentations to clients and valuation reports.
Youll visit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings.
Youll take part in regular training in business skills technical knowledge and professional development to support your growth

Surveying qualification support Youll take part in various workshops to build your knowledge and skills for your Chartership assessment. You will be designated a mentor who will support you throughout the programme
Dress for your day Each day will be different so we trust you to dress according to what youre doing. For example if youre meeting clients then its important to dress smartly to reflect the great work we do and we encourage you dress more casually when you dont.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays each year We encourage you take breaks from work and hope you use this time to recharge regularly throughout the year.
2 paid volunteer days each year We feel its important to give back to the communities around us. JLL set up events with specific charities and organisations which you can get involved with such as our work with schools. Or you can use your days to support a charity or local organisation of your choice.

Required Skills and Experience:
Degree predicted or achieved minimum 2:2 in any discipline

Right to work in the UK:
You will need to have permanent right to work in the UK with no time restrictions or limited working hours. Unfortunately we are unable to sponsor visas including Graduate Visas beyond the programme
