Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Commercial Managers for construction opportunities across the Midlands.
The role is suited to experienced commercial professionals capable of taking responsibility for the financial and contractual performance of construction projects or portfolios.
- Lead commercial management of construction projects.
- Manage budgets forecasts and project financial performance.
- Oversee valuations applications and payments.
- Manage subcontract accounts and procurement.
- Review and manage contractual obligations.
- Identify and manage commercial risks.
- Manage variations claims and changes.
- Prepare commercial reports and forecasts.
- Support contract negotiations.
- Manage final accounts.
- Work closely with operational and project teams.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Proven commercial management experience.
- Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management background.
- NEC and/or JCT contract experience.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
- Experience managing project financial performance.
- Degree qualification.
- MRICS.
- MCIOB.
- Full UK driving licence.
Required Skills:
Right to work in the UK. Proven site management experience. Valid CSCS Manager Card. Valid SMSTS qualification. First Aid at Work qualification. Full UK driving licence. Strong understanding of construction site operations. Experience managing subcontractors and site teams. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of site delivery. Desirable Temporary Works Supervisor qualification. Asbestos Awareness. Fire Marshal qualification. Temporary Works knowledge.
