Commercial Manager

We are recruting for a Commercial Manager to join our Business Development Team to support us as we continue to grow and develop the business.

Key role responsibilities:

• Alongside the Engineering & Product Quality Manager provide leadership support development and manage capacity of cross functional team.
• Alongside the Demand Manager closely monitor the orderbook and be able to articulate trends and drivers
• Define and implement pricing strategies on new and existing product
• Investigate performance of existing products to verify profitability creating an action plan to address gaps.
• Lead negotiations for new contracts and contract renewals
• Manage RFQ process including Bid/No-Bid customer communication quote delivery and conversion whilst ensuring buy in from all internal departments.
• Identify opportunities and lead efforts to win new business with existing or new customers
• Sales and marketing activities to support business growth initiatives
• Produce sales plans in support of short medium and long term planning drawing information from multiple sources of reference
• Support the companies legal obligations in relation to Export Control Security Vetting and keep up to date with current and developing export/import regulation for military dual use product services & technology.
• Management of the company export security policy operating procedures export licensing controls documentation & compliance including EAR & ITAR. Point of contact for related external audits with zero major NCRs being raised.
