Working closely with landlords tenants legal professionals and internal stakeholders you will oversee lease negotiations renewals rent reviews and compliance across a varied portfolio.

This position would suit someone with strong commercial lease experience ideally gained within the social housing sector or a similar regulated environment across Sussex who can confidently manage multiple priorities and build long-term professional relationships.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Commercial Lease Manager

• Manage a portfolio of commercial leases from acquisition through to renewal or expiry
• Negotiate lease renewals rent reviews licences and lease variations with landlords and tenants
• Monitor key lease dates obligations and compliance requirements to minimise risk
• Build and maintain effective relationships with landlords solicitors surveyors and internal teams
• Maintain accurate lease records documentation and property management systems
• Provide commercial lease advice to support property and asset management decisions

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):

• Previous experience managing commercial property leases
• Strong understanding of commercial lease agreements and property legislation
• Experience working within social housing would be highly desirable
• Knowledge of the Sussex commercial property market would be advantageous
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Sussex as required
