Job Summary
Authority is developing insurance-focused products intelligence and advisory offerings for businesses. We are looking for an experienced commercial insurance professional who is currently active in the United Kingdom to advise us as we develop and improve these offerings.
You will provide practical guidance on customer needs coverage design underwriting pricing distribution claims and market positioning. Your advice will help ensure that our insurance offerings reflect how the commercial insurance market actually operates.
- Commercial insurance product design and market fit
- Coverage limits exclusions and policy wording
- Underwriting and pricing considerations
- Broker carrier MGA and direct distribution models
- Claims processes and common customer problems
- Carrier appetite capacity and competitive positioning
- Opportunities to improve insurance data tools and customer experiences
- Commercial property and casualty
- General and professional liability
- Commercial motor and fleet
- Cyber insurance
- Business interruption
- Workers compensation or employers liability
- SME and mid-market insurance
- Brokerage underwriting claims product or distribution
- At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience
- Currently operating in or closely involved with the the United Kingdom insurance market
- Up-to-date knowledge of local customers regulation and market conditions
- Firsthand experience with insurance product underwriting claims brokerage or distribution decisions
- A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant professional experience
- Independent consulting contract
- Remote within the United Kingdom
- Approximately 2 to 4 paid consulting hours per month
- Flexible scheduling
