Our Head Office teams provide the foundations that empower our people to drive sustainable growth across the UK and international Commercial Finance Manager youll play a pivotal role in shaping financial insight challenging assumptions and supporting strategic decisionmaking. Youll assist with budgeting forecasting and performance analysis across our multichannel retail business partnering closely with senior stakeholders across our various sales channels and cost is a full-time permanent role and as part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations (minimum 40% of working week) and remotely within the help us by:Support the annual budget process and inyear reforecast cycles across sales channels and overhead robust driverbased forecast models that reflect the performance dynamics ensuring that all budgets and forecasts align with business strategy financial targets and trading business inputs into a coherent financial plan providing clear variance analysis and the delivery of monthly management accounts for sales channels and key overhead insightful reporting packs including P&L analysis KPI trends variance explanations and channel performance commentary for Board/Exec reporting ensuring clarity accuracy and commercial with Financial Accounting to ensure journals accruals and provisions are accurate and performance against budget reforecast and prior year clearly articulating underlying trends and highlighting risks opportunities and actions for the upcoming as the primary finance partner to channel leads e.g. stores online partners functional heads e.g. Marketing Property Retail Operations with financial insight cost control and investment and influencing commercial decisions with datadriven analysis and financial performance into clear actionable insights for nonfinance monthly channel and departmental performance reviews identifying risks opportunities and required collaboratively with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting alignment on key metrics and supporting the development of financial processes to improve accuracy and skills youll be sharing with the team:Proven experience in a commercial finance or finance business partnering to simplify complex financial information and influence working in a fastpaced environment with multiple prioritiesHigh attention to detail combined with the ability to think and analytical skills.A great influencer with the ability to confidently represent the business with stakeholders (internal and external)Highly numerate and literate with the ability to effectively communicate financial topics to non-finance professionalsTenacious nature with the ability to problem solvePossess the authority credibility and integrity to command respect and hold teams or areas to account when requiredAbility to translate operational requirements into finance team we hope youll love working with us:The success of Seasalt is down to the skill and hard work of our team.
