The Role As a CNC Operative youll play a key role in manufacturing precision components to the highest quality standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Producing one-off and small batch precision components.
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Manufacturing components to tight tolerances.
• Inspecting your own work using measuring equipment.
• Maintaining high standards of quality accuracy and housekeeping.
• Working collaboratively within an experienced machining team.

About You To be successful youll ideally have:

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Experience within a precision engineering or metal fabrication environment.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• A keen eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

Experience in any of the following would also be beneficial but is not essential:

• CNC milling or turning.
• Editing or creating CNC programmes.
• Heidenhain controls.
• CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks or CAMWorks.
