Salary: 18 21 per hour depending on experience

Location: Luton Bedfordshire

Working pattern: Full-time permanent 40 hours (Monday to Thursday 8am 5pm Friday 8am 2pm)

About the role

Pact Engineering is a long-established family-owned precision engineering company with a strong reputation for producing high-quality complex components for the motorsport food production and wider manufacturing sectors. As our order book continues to grow were looking for a skilled CNC Miller to help us deliver the standards our customers expect.

This suits an experienced CNC Miller or a capable machinist ready to develop further who wants to join a stable and well-run machine shop.

What youll be doing

• Programming setting and operating 3 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines
• Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
• Using modern inspection equipment to verify part quality
• Working independently and as part of a small collaborative team
• Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining our quality standards

What youll bring

• Experience programming setting or operating 3 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines
• Competent CNC programming on HEIDENHAIN controls or a willingness to train
• Strong ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Understanding of the standards required to produce a high-quality finish
• Confidence using modern inspection tools and equipment
• Able to work with minimal supervision and use your initiative
• Fork-lift truck experience or certification is an advantage but not essential
