Clinical Lead - Enhanced Care Unit

37.5 Hours & 9 Months Fixed Term
Salary: Up to 47000.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join their team of staff.
This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
Lead and coordinate the daily clinical operations of your department ensuring appropriate
skill mix safe staffing levels and effective patient care.Supervise and support nursing staff allocating duties based on patient need competencyand development goals.
Actively manage rotas annual leave and study leave to maintain service continuity.
Work alongside the Clinical Services Manager to support strategic service development ensuring efficientdelivery of care and positive patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation professional standards and regulatoryrequirements (e.g. CQC HIS HIW).
Maintain professional standards in accordance with the NMC Code and clinical best practiceguidelines.
Undertake and support departmental risk assessments clinical audits and the risk self assessment cycle.
Investigate incidents and lead on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) where required taking remedialactions and ensuring learning is shared.
Ensure full compliance with infection prevention safeguarding health and safety manualhandling and information governance policies.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
Proven experience in a senior nursing or supervisory leadership role.
Strong understanding of clinical governance risk management and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication mentorship and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
Evidence of continued professional development and competency in advanced nursingpractice.
