Job Title: Clinical Fellow in Palliative Medicine

Location: Marie Curie Hospice West Midlands

Salary:NHS Specialty Registrar pay scale 54499 - 67325 per annum (dependent on experience) plus on-call supplement.

Hours: Weekly hourscommitment is 36 hours per week plus 1 in5 on-call

Contract:Fixed-term - 12 months

This post offersthe successful applicant a wide range of palliative medicine collaboration with medical colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team and dependent on experience the post holder will play an important medical role in delivering care to inpatients. The post also involves participation in training and education and activities relating to maintaining clinical excellence within the may be of interest to junior doctors keen to establish a career in this field.

What we are looking for:

• Full GMC registration a licence to practice and at least 2 years of full-time postgraduate training preferably within the NHS
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Communication skills that are sensitive to patients and carers
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.
