The role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented CASS Operations Analyst to join our
team and help build and maintain robust processes whilst ensuring operational activities
run smoothly and deliver a seamless customer experience.
What youll do
Reconciliation Management:
Perform daily reconciliations for client money and safe custody assets;
Identify and investigate discrepancies variances and anomalies in reconciliation processes;
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of records
Use internal systems and software tools to extract manipulate and analyse large datasets.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements throughout reconciliation processes
Support the preparation of regulatory submissions management information and audit requests.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of reconciliation activities.
Assist in drafting and updating procedural manuals and internal guidelines.
Risk & Controls Management:
Assist in assessing and mitigating risks associated with reconciliation and CASS processes
Participate in risk assessments and contribute to enhancements in the risk management framework.
What you need to have
Bachelors degree in relevant subject.
An appetite for AI tools and automation where youd rather build a smarter process than repeat the same task twice.
A passion for continuous improvement where youre never quite satisfied with good enough when theres a smarter way forward.
A creative and methodical approach to problem-solving with a talent for cutting through complexity to find the most effective path forward.
Strong analytical and organisational skills paired with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a straightforward and engaging way.
Someone who takes initiative but also values the benefits of collaboration within a team.
A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and follow through without needing to be chased.
Some exposure to financial services operations or a related field whether through work study or personal interest.
Proficiency in SQL Python and/or other programming languages.
