Cleaning Operative

Location: 2nd Floor 11 High Cross Truro Cornwall TR1 2AJ

Pay Rate: 13.75 per hour (PAYE)

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
  
• 5:30am 8:30am
  
• 15 hours per week
  

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work at a modern commercial office in Truro.

This is a temporary holiday cover opportunity offering regular weekday morning hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean safe and professional working environment while working independently.

• General office cleaning
  
• Vacuuming mopping and dusting
  
• Cleaning desks workstations and touch points
  
• Cleaning kitchens and staff welfare facilities
  
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the premises
  
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
  
• Working safely in accordance with all site procedures
  

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
  
• Reliable punctual and trustworthy
  
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Comfortable working as a lone worker where required
  
• Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating an alarm system where applicable
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Right to work in the UK
  

Successful candidates will be required to complete:

• Right to Work verification
  
• Employment history checks where required by the client
  
• Site security and compliance checks
  

Candidates must bring original Right to Work documentation to their site induction. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in the offer being withdrawn.

This site operates a mandatory telephone Time & Attendance system which all employees are required to use.
