Cleaning Operative – Part-Time Evening Role (Banking Environment)

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work within a secure banking environment in Horsham West Sussex. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity offering regular part-time hours and the potential for long-term employment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness hygiene and presentation while working independently and ensuring all security procedures are followed.

• Carrying out general cleaning duties throughout the banking premises
  
• Vacuuming sweeping and mopping floor areas
  
• Cleaning desks workstations and high-touch surfaces
  
• Cleaning kitchens welfare areas and communal spaces
  
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  
• Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation
  
• Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns
  
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
  

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
  
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  
• Comfortable working alone within a secure environment
  
• Must be willing to act as a key holder and operate alarm systems where required
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
• Reliable punctual and professional approach
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Right to work in the UK
  

Successful candidates must:

• Be comfortable using a telephone-based time and attendance system
  
• Be able to work as a lone worker
  
• Be willing to act as a key holder
  
• Be comfortable operating alarm systems
  
• Provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction
  
• Provide valid photographic identification prior to commencing work
