Cleaning Operative – Medical Unit – Newport, NP10

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to work at a medical unit located within Asda Newport Superstore in Duffryn Newport.

This role involves maintaining a clean safe and hygienic environment to a high standard. You will work independently for 2 hours per day six days per week.

• General cleaning of the medical unit
  
• Sweeping mopping and vacuuming floors
  
• Cleaning treatment rooms staff areas and communal areas
  
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
  
• Following all health and safety and infection control procedures
  
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
  

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred
  
• Experience cleaning healthcare or medical environments is advantageous
  
• Reliable punctual and able to work independently
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
• Available to start on 31 July 2026
  
• Able to work Monday to Friday and Sunday
