Location: Merry Hill Shopping Centre Brierley Hill West Midlands DY5 1SY

Pay Rate: 13.45 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 6.25 hours per week

Working Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
  
• 8:30am 9:45am
  
• No weekend work
  

Contract: Temporary Holiday Cover

Assignment Dates: 12 August 2026 21 August 2026

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work at a high street banking site located within Merry Hill Shopping Centre.

This is a short-term holiday cover position ideal for an experienced cleaner who takes pride in maintaining high standards and is comfortable working independently.

• Cleaning office and customer areas
  
• Vacuuming mopping and dusting
  
• Cleaning kitchens and staff welfare facilities
  
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
  
• Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the site
  
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
  
• Following all site security and health & safety procedures
  

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is essential
  
• Basic DBS Certificate
  
• Valid Right to Work documentation
  
• No credit check required
  
• Comfortable working alone
  
• Able to work as a key holder
  
• Confident using an alarm panel
  
• Willing to use a mandatory telephone time and attendance system
  
• Reliable trustworthy and well presented
  
• Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  

• 13.45 per hour (PAYE)
