Cleaning Operative (Banking Environment) – Northampton NN1

• Monday to Friday: 4:00pm 7:00pm
  
• Saturday: 2:00pm 5:00pm
  
• Sunday: No work
  

We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Cleaning Operative to work within a secure banking environment in Northampton. This role is to provide holiday cover and would suit candidates with previous commercial cleaning experience who are comfortable working independently.

• General office and banking hall cleaning
  
• Vacuuming mopping dusting and polishing
  
• Cleaning washrooms and staff welfare facilities
  
• Emptying waste and recycling bins
  
• Sanitising high-touch surfaces
  
• Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  
• Following all health & safety procedures and site security protocols
  
• Opening securing and locking premises where required
  
• Working independently in a secure environment
  

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
  
• Ability to work confidently as a lone worker
  
• Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating alarm systems
  
• Excellent attention to detail and reliability
  
• Professional appearance and conduct
  
• Ability to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
  
• Good communication skills
  

Due to the nature of this role within a banking environment successful applicants will be required to complete the following checks prior to commencing employment:

• Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

• Five-year employment history review including explanation of any employment gaps
  
• Identity and address verification checks
  
• Completion of all client-specific security and compliance documentation
