Cleaning Operative – Banking Environment – Glasgow, G5
Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to join a prestigious banking environment in Glasgow. This is a full-time temporary position covering sickness absence with an immediate start available.
Working within a busy corporate banking environment you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the site.
- General cleaning of office and banking areas
- Cleaning meeting rooms reception areas and communal spaces
- Sweeping mopping vacuuming and dusting
- Cleaning kitchens tea points and welfare facilities
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred
- Experience working in a corporate or banking environment is advantageous
- Professional reliable and punctual
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Available to work Monday to Friday 12:30pm 9:00pm
- Available for an immediate start
Successful applicants will be required to complete the clients mandatory compliance checks before starting including:
- Basic DBS Check
- Proof of Address (Bank Statement Utility Bill or Council Tax bill dated within the last 3 months)
- Proof of National Insurance (NI Card payslip or official letter relating to tax pension or benefits)
- Three years employment history supported by evidence such as employment contracts reference letters payslips salary evidence or HMRC tax records
- Valid photographic ID (Passport Driving Licence or Identity Card)
- Right to Work in the UK verification
