A friendly school in Canterbury is seeking a dependable Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school site.

The successful candidate will take pride in creating clean hygienic and welcoming spaces for pupils staff and visitors.

• Clean classrooms offices corridors toilets communal areas and other school facilities.

• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.

• Safely use cleaning products and equipment.

• Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises.

• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.

• Report maintenance issues damage or hazards to the appropriate member of staff.

• Carry out periodic deep-cleaning duties as required.

• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies.

• Secure cleaning equipment and chemicals safely after use.

• Work cooperatively with the wider site and premises team.

• Previous commercial school hotel healthcare or domestic cleaning experience.

• Good understanding of hygiene and cleaning standards.

• Reliable and punctual approach to work.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

• Good attention to detail.

• Physically able to undertake routine cleaning duties.

• Enhanced background checks will be required.
