About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver you will:

• Driver will be away from depot all week transporting a variety of load types.
• Carry out a variety of transport duties including longdistance and pallet network trunking multidrop deliveries and operating curtainsided trailers with flexibility to meet changing workloads.
• Provide transport services for multiple depotbased customers ensuring their handling and delivery requirements are met professionally.
• Operate curtainsided and refrigerated vehicles ensuring correct loading secure transport and temperature control where needed.
• Complete thorough daily vehicle checks using the company mobile device and report any defects promptly.
• Stay in regular contact with the transport team to give progress updates highlight delays or issues and support effective customer service.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident polite and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit flexible hardworking and self-motivated.
