The Role

At GBA Logistics were expanding and were looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to join our Dedicated Fleet team in Scunthorpe. This is an exciting time to come on board. Whether youre on the road or at a delivery point youll represent GBA with pride and professionalism. This is more than just a driving role youll be contributing to our mission of providing exceptional logistics solutions and helping to maintain the strong reputation weve built in the industry. The role involves general haulage and dock work with a requirement to stay out 4 nights per week. Were not just recruiting drivers were building a close-knit family-feel team that reflects our company values of professionalism respect teamwork and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
• Ensure safe and secure loading with correct load restraint
• Comply with traffic laws Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations
• Drive safely and fuel-efficiently
• Complete regular walk-around inspections
• Deliver excellent customer service at every touchpoint
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional presentation

About You

Were looking for someone who brings:

• A customer-friendly manner with a positive can-do attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong understanding of tachograph rules and Working Time Directive
• The right to work in the UK
• Minimum 6 months UK Class 1 (LGV CE) driving experience
• No DD or DR offences
• No more than 6 points on your licence
