Role

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Civil Estimator / Buyer to join their growing team within the renewable energy sector.

This is a great opportunity to work on exciting renewable energy projects supporting both the estimating and buying functions while working closely with commercial and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing cost estimates for civil engineering works.

Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations.

Purchasing materials and services for projects.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

Supporting project teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and cost- effectively.

Assisting with commercial and procurement activities across multiple projects.

Requirements

Previous experience in civil estimating and/or buying.

Strong commercial awareness.

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work in a proactive and detail-oriented manner.

Experience within renewables utilities or infrastructure sectors is desirable.
