An established civil engineering SME operating since the early 1990s is looking for a Civil Engineer to join its design team in Cardiff or Bristol.

The role will suit a Civil Engineer with a drainage focus looking to develop within a design-led environment and contribute to a team known for technical excellence and long-standing client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Producing detailed civil engineering designs with a particular focus on drainage
• Preparing drainage strategies SuDS designs and calculations in line with current standards
• Producing and reviewing designs using AutoCAD and Civils 3D
• Liaising with clients contractors and other members of the design team throughout project delivery
• Supporting projects from concept through to detailed design and construction
• Preparing technical reports drawings and supporting documentation
• Ensuring designs meet relevant codes standards and client requirements
• Contributing to the ongoing high standards of quality and client service the business is known for

• Proven experience in civil engineering design
• Strong drainage design experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civils 3D
