Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Childrens Services Team Manager to lead and manage a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality safeguarding and social care services are delivered in accordance with statutory requirements council policies and best practice while driving performance and positive outcomes for children young people and families.
Responsibilities:
Lead manage and supervise a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors.
Oversee caseload allocation workload management and service delivery to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
Provide regular supervision performance management and professional development support to staff.
Ensure statutory duties safeguarding responsibilities and care planning requirements are met.
Monitor and improve service performance against key performance indicators and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Social Work or equivalent recognised qualification.
Essentials:
Social Work England registration.
Significant post-qualification experience within Childrens Social Care.
Experience managing or supervising staff within a childrens services environment.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation statutory guidance and childrens social care frameworks.
Experience managing complex cases involving children in need child protection looked after children or care leavers.

You should have right to work in U.K
